ABOUT THE WELL SUPPORTED MOTHERS COLLECTIVE

Established in 2022, The Well Supported Mothers Collective originated organically among a group of women's health professionals. Central to their shared vision is the aspiration to bridge a significant gap in the current model of care for women and families during the childbearing years. Through collaborative efforts, these professionals work together to provide tailored support and valuable wisdom, aiming to empower mothers and their families to thrive.

The Collective operates with a shared vision and philosophy, recognising that: the well-being of women—physically, medically, emotionally, and spiritually—throughout the process of childbearing is pivotal to establishing the cornerstone of collective inter-generational health and well-being for both the mother and her family. Throughout the two years preceding childbirth, the birthing process, and the subsequent seven years, a mother's health and well-being are significantly and directly influenced—whether positively or negatively—by the support she receives during this crucial period.

The conventional standard of care, even in nations with reputedly superior health services, markedly falls short of adequately addressing the requirements of mothers during the child-rearing phase.

Our team of practitioners is meticulously curated, considering their individual strengths and specialised areas of expertise. They collectively embody the following qualities:

  • Extensive Experience and Expertise: Our practitioners are highly experienced and have dedicated their studies to focus on women's health and the specific requirements of the childbearing phase.

  • Global Recognition as Educators: Our practitioners are acknowledged educators, recognised both in Australia and globally for their contributions to women's health.

  • Leaders in the Field: Positioned at the forefront of their respective fields, our practitioners serve as industry leaders, consistently advancing knowledge and practices in women's health.

  • Integrative and Holistic Approaches: Embracing integrative and holistic methodologies, our practitioners provide comprehensive care that addresses the multifaceted aspects of women's health.

  • Collaborative Models of Care: Our team operates on collaborative models of care, fostering an environment where practitioners work seamlessly together to optimise patient outcomes.

  • Woman-Centred Care: At the core of our practice is a commitment to woman-centred care, ensuring that each individual's unique needs and preferences are central to the care they receive.
